ABOUT US
The TULLETT MORRIS ART+SHED has sprung from a desire to make things, to recycle, to promote creativity, and to support local artists in Taranaki. We have had the 'shed' at the bottom of the garden open for special events like the Taranaki Arts Trail for several years. Now we have an on line space that is 'open all hours'. The ART+SHED has worked with a diverse group of artists and makers. We love the art works and locally hand made creations but now we are featuring our family. We are sure you will find some interesting and useful things here.

Painter
STU TULLETT MORRIS
Stu was born and raised in Taranaki. In 2015 and 2016 he studied at The Learning Connexion, graduating with a diploma in Art and Creativity. During his time at art school he explored painting, experimental film, ceramics and various types of print making.
He is also a musician. All the mediums he explores bleed into each other. You can see musical rhythms in his paintings and bright painterly colours in his films.
Although he did some painting exploration at art school, he is mostly a self taught painter and his paintings are colourful, playful, expressive and often figurative. He gets a inspiration from the natural world and his early paintings are of harmonious natural worlds.
